Anoushka Shankar

Anoushka shankar is an British and American sitarist. She also plays music. She won the British House of Commons' Shield in the year of her youngest and also the first female recipient. In addition to the nine Grammy awards, she was also the first Indian-born musician to present at and perform at the award ceremony. Anoushka Shankar is the hottest young star of the Indian sitar. She is both the daughter and pupil of Ravi Shankar. Her birthplace was London in 1982. In the first few years of her life she was split between London New Delhi. She began learning music at the age nine and was a sitar player in celebration of the 75th anniversary her father's birth in Delhi the following year.
